Current world events being what they are I decided to blog about the end-of-the-world vibe of ‘Coming Storm’.  We seem to have lost track of government being for the people in a lot of instances.  It seems to all be about power and control now, rather than community and servitude.  These, therefore, can be scary times for regular citizens like you and I.  Or exciting maybe; I guess it depends how you look at it.  But, getting back to the music, ‘Coming Storm’ looks to be the last track on my album and in my opinion is the perfect choice for it.  Stylistically I think it has a kinda Bon Jovi, Keep The Faith kind of vibe, while my producer (who wrote the song) says that the main guitar and bass riff pays tribute to Killing Joke’s ‘A Love Like Blood’.  It has super awesome guitars and drums throughout with a very cool bridge and guitar solo.  Listen out for some great storm effects through the beginning and end: a ‘can’t miss’ ending to the song with extremely cool ad-libs and effects.  ‘Coming Storm’ is the perfect final song for any concert or civilization (JOKING!).  It’s lyrically very cool as well with highly visual lyrics that you can picture in your head as you listen.  I really enjoyed recording this song; all the vocals except the really, really low stuff are mine and it was a lot of fun coming up with the parts.  I especially enjoyed doing the ad-libs at the end, which probably doesn’t surprise you.  😉  The results are amazing and I hope you all enjoy this.
